Alexandre Escudier (1971) has been permanent Research Fellow at the Centre for Political Research (CEVIPOF; Fondation Nationale des Sciences Politiques, Paris) since 2004. He writes extensively on the history of political philosophy, on political conceptual history and the epistemology of human sciences both in France and Germany. He is currently working on the complex history (philosophical, socio-political and cultural) of the epochal ‘crisis’ in Germany and France between 1880 and 1914.
